Mashrafe Mortaza inspects Bangladesh’s World Cup hopes

ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament is only days away and the buzz among all the fans is understandable as the mega-event, carrying a round-robin format, promises to be a thrilling affair. In addition to that, the prowess of all the 10 teams would augment the quality of the competition.

After registering a successful World Cup campaign in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 tournament, Bangladesh is eager to emulate their success. However, skipper Mashrafe Mortaza is wary of the challenge lying ahead as he urged his unit to be at the top of their game to beat the top sides of the tournament. Nevertheless, the 35-year old reiterated that he sees sturdiness within his unit which would aid him tackle the tough times. The sagacious all-rounder is excited with the young crop as he believes that his team has the right mix of juniors and seniors. Moreover, the Jessore born promised to give his all in a competition which is expected to be his swansong 50-over tournament.
