The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has permitted players to take their families to the World Cup after their much-anticipated match against archrivals India on June 16 at Old Trafford, Manchester.
Earlier, PCB prohibited players to travel with their family members during the tournament. However, only Haris Sohail and Asif Ali were exempted under specific circumstances. But now, the board has revised its decision and allowed families to travel with players after the match against India.
As per the new PCB policy, the cricketers would have to make their own arrangements for the travelling family members. Pakistan will kick off their World Cup campaign against West Indies on 31st May at Nottingham.
