The Indian cricket team has not had an ideal start to its World Cup preparations as it was routed at the hands of the Kiwis in London. The blue shirts had no answer to the immaculate swing bowling of the New Zealand pacers as they only managed to put up 179 on the board.
However, former Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar is not worried about the team’s recent performances as he says that the blue shirts would need to pace themselves at the right time in order to have a shot at the world title.
“We just need to stay focused on the process and the result will take care of itself. That is what I would say: Stay focused on the process and enjoy these moments. It's a long tournament, new format, so pacing yourself cleverly is going to be a critical factor,” he said.
