The West Indian cricket team would enter this year’s ICC Cricket World Cup in England and Wales as the dark horses as they have been playing some exceptional cricket against the top sides of the world of late.
Many believe that the Windies have a chance to win the title this year only if they could deliver to their true potential at the world stage. Skipper Jason Holder is quite confident that his young side would be able to leave a mark in this year’s world event.
“We want to create our own legacy. We obviously know our history and what the past players have done. We want to leave our own legacy for the game which is why we want to look at this World Cup stage by stage and not get too ahead of ourselves,” he said.
