Fakhar Zaman shot to prominence with a wonderful Champions Trophy campaign with Pakistan that ended in a match-winning century from the 29-year-old. Two years have passed since that crisp knock of 114, and Fakhar has cemented his place at the top of Pakistan’s batting order as their aggressor-in-chief.
Talking about the change in his mindset since then, Fakhar has revealed that he has become a much more mature cricketer during this period. He said that he is aware of his responsibilities and the value he provides to the team, and thus wants to fulfill the role of being the game-changer for Pakistan.
"I was very lucky and ever since that century I have become famous. But with that fame comes responsibility and I have become more mature and now I realize the importance of playing my part. That will be my top priority in the World Cup," the left-hander claimed.
