Bangladesh Under 19s won by 9 wickets (DLS Method)
Team India is considered as one of the favorites for the mega event starting tomorrow. The men in blue played their 2nd warm-up game against Bangladesh yesterday and they were too good for the Bengal tigers.
India batted first and Bangladesh bowlers were quick to rattle the top order including the skipper Virat Kohli who was deceived by a beautiful Yorker by Saifuddin.
After that, India’s no.4 in that match was KL Rahul who took the opportunity with both hands and scored a blistering century. He was joined by none other than MS Dhoni who also went on to score a magnificent ton.
However, the highlight of the match was Dhoni reaching his hundred with a gigantic straight six over the bowler’s head. MS reached his milestone in his typical style and the skipper Virat Kohli standing on the balcony enjoyed that shot too.
India finished on 359-7 in 50 overs and in reply Bangladesh could only manage to score 264. Mushfiqur Rahim was the top scorer with 90 runs followed by Liton Das who scored 73.
The spin duo of Kuldeep & Chahal were once again at their best as they took 6 Bangladesh wickets between them to give India a much-needed victory before the World Cup.
