The ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup is expected to be a complete run fest as most of the pitches in England and Wales do not provide much assistance to the bowlers, keeping in mind the recent history.
Pakistani fast bowler Hasan Ali is confident that he would do well on the English pitches as he is putting in the hard work with bowling coach, Azhar Mahmood. He also reiterated the importance of taking wickets regularly on flat tracks as it is crucial to win matches.
“The way modern cricket is going, every bowler needs to know that taking wickets is the key. You take wickets and you win matches I know that I have not taken many wickets since the South Africa tour, but I am doing the hard work with bowling coach and once I get my rhythm I am sure wickets will come my way,” he said.
