ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament had a major buildup as captains and players engaged in various activities which augmented the charm of the tournament. Skippers of all the 10 teams also joined the Garden Party at Buckingham Palace where Queen Elizabeth greeted them before the commencement of the mega-event.
The biggest talking point of the evening proved to be Pakistan’s captain Sarfaraz Ahmed who donned Shalwar Kameez (Pakistan’s traditional dress) and complemented it with a green blazer. While this move made many proud, others found themselves in a disagreement with the wicket-keeper batsman as they felt that Sarfaraz failed to adhere to the dress code.
However, the 32-year old has been braced by a major chunk including famous Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi who paid his respect to Sarfaraz. The Multan born star was found jubilated as he believes that Sarfaraz has represented the Pakistani culture in a graceful manner. Being an ardent lover of the game, Hamza also extended his best wishes to the green team for the running edition of the World Cup.
