The Pakistan cricket team, which is being considered as one of the contenders for the title, has been routed by the West Indies in their opening game at Trent Bridge as the former’s batting collapsed in front of the short ball barrage.
Pakistan team and the word ‘unpredictable’ are often considered synonyms as the green shirts would go on from producing a mediocre performance against a low ranked side on one day to dominating world’s best team on the other.
Skipper Sarfraz Ahmed feels that the unpredictability of team Pakistan scares the oppositions as it always keeps them guessing of the side which would turn up on a given day.
“I think it's good to be unpredictable. All teams are scared of Pakistan because we are unpredictable. At the end of the day, the Pakistan team is very dangerous too. So it's good for the World Cup to be very unpredictable, it affects the whole outcome,” he said.
