Misbah backs Pakistan to end India’s winning run in World Cups

Talking about Indo-Pak encounters, words would never be able to fold the magic and charm these games contain. However, if we consider the World Cup clashes, it has been a one-way traffic as Pakistan is yet to take down India in all the editions of the mega-event.

The two teams are set to lock horns in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament on June 16 at Old Trafford which is already exciting many cricket enthusiasts. Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq also jumped on the bandwagon as he reflected on the most anticipated clash of the 50-over competition.

Sharing his views, the 45-year old admitted that India’s quality is far superior to Pakistan. However, Misbah reiterated that even a single strong individual show could greatly augment the chances of the boys in green. The Mianwali born further added that since Pakistan has the quality to take down India, it is important to handle pressure well and execute plans properly.

“Statistically and logically, India is a better team but we know Pakistan is dangerous. One good performance can change the course of the game.

Our chances could be low but they aren’t zero. We have the ability to beat India in World Cup,” opined by Pakistan’s most successful Test skipper.
