WWE superstar backs India for the World Cup

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston wished India the best of luck for their attempts to lift the World Cup trophy for third time in their cricketing history. The wrestling superstar garners a lot of fan following in India, and his upbeat message to the cricket team doubles the joy for his Indian supporters.

The 37-year-old singled out the two vital cogs of India’s lineup, skipper Virat Kohli and veteran MS Dhoni, as he motivated them to go all the way to achieving World Cup glory in his video message uploaded to WWE India’s Twitter handle.

India began their tournament campaign on a positive note, emphatically defeating South Africa by 6 wickets, thanks to a graceful century from opener Rohit Sharma. They will now take on defending champions Australia in their next game.
