The Pakistan cricket team could not take the field against Sri Lanka on Friday after the game was abandoned without a ball bowled due to a wet outfield. Fans were furious on the outcome as they wanted to see their respective teams compete against each other.
After the ODI was washed out, Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed expressed disappointment on not getting to play the game as he said that his side was really looking forward to the contest in order to get those crucial points at the start of the lengthy tournament.
Moreover, he also said that other teams are scared of Pakistan now as they have beaten the title favourites, England in their last completed game. The skipper is quite confident that the team would use the built-up momentum to do well in the upcoming matches as well.
