Adam Zampa reprimanded by the ICC

Australia leg-spinner Adam Zampa has received an official reprimand and one demerit point for breaching the International Cricket Council (ICC)'s code of conduct during the World Cup match against West Indies.

Zampa was charged with using an "audible obscenity" while bowling during a tense period of the Windies' run chase at Trent Bridge. The incident occurred at the end of the 29th over of the West Indies innings when the legs-pinner was heard using an audible obscenity by umpires Marais Erasmus and Chris Gaffaney.

Zampa took the wicket of Nicholas Pooran and went for 58 runs in his 10 overs quota as Australia recorded their second straight win of the tournament with a victory over Jason Holder's men in Trent Bridge.
