Talking about tournaments like World Cup, fan and official anthems are usually released to boost the confidence of the participating teams. This year is no different as Pakistan has been backed with few fan anthems as the nation is getting behind the boys in green to repeat the heroics of the 1992 World Cup which was played in Australia and New Zealand.
During the running edition of the mega-event, an anthem was released which comprises of the videos of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Cricingif. The enchanting song featured none other than Pakistan’s paceman Rumman Raees who grabbed all the attention with his singing skills. As expected, the video also reached the national team’s camp in England.
Opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq was really delighted to see his countryman throwing his support behind the green team. Impressed with Rumman’s appearance in the anthem, the 23-year old shared his admiration for the 27-year old. The Lahore born extended his prayers for Rumman so that he could get back in national colors.
