Abdul Razzaq reviews the current crop of all-rounders

The significance of all-rounders can hardly be overemphasized in the cricketing world. Apart from improving the balance of the unit, the belligerence and abilities of such cricketers usually make them genuine match winners which has been witnessed time and again in the cricketing world.

Recently, Pakistan’s darling all-rounder Abdul Razzaq featured on prominent Cricingif show ‘Off the Turf’ where he picked his favorite all-rounders from the current cricketing world. The Lahore born also went on to pick Hardik Pandya and Andre Russell as his favorite all-rounders from the current crop.

Discussing the essentials to become a successful hitter, Razzaq lauded heaps of praise on the aforementioned players. Moreover, he didn’t shy away to admit the dearth of quality all-rounders in Pakistani team.

“I see my reflection in India’s Hardik Pandya and West Indies’ Andre Russell. These two players are really good in smashing the bowlers. When it comes to power-hitting, you should be able to hit straight and that requires a lot of skills,” said by Abdul Razzaq as he picked his favorite all-rounders of the modern day cricket.
