Australian opening batsman, David Warner, was not in the best of his forms in the match against India at the Oval. Although Warner scored a fifty yet it became a burden on the Australian batting line-up while chasing a mammoth target.
Warner scored 56 off 84 balls with a strike-rate of 66.66 only. His strike-rate was not sufficient to chase the target of 353. Warner struggled with his timings and failed to find the gaps more often than not.
Former Australian players and journalists criticized David Warner for his sluggish knock. The Twitterati was not happy either to see Warner playing like that. Remember it was the slowest fifty ever by David Warner in his entire ODI career.
