Recently, the 30-year old has expressed his support for a UNICEF initiative called ‘One Day 4 Children’ which is a tournament-wide campaign aimed to grab attention towards the One Day 4 Children match which is scheduled to take place on June 30.
Reflecting on the activity and the greater goal, the shrewd player added that he enjoyed support from people during his early days and would want every child to have it so that no one stays behind and gets deprived of his or her rights.
“My family and teachers supported me to play cricket from an early age. Cricket has taught me so much, helped me through tough times and given me many great days. One Day 4 Children is helping children, learn, play and be healthy through cricket. Please join the team,” said by Delhi born as he shared a special message for the initiative.
