Michael Holding not happy with the ICC

The standard of umpiring in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup has been quite questionable as officials have missed a couple of clear things on the field which has impacted the results of those games.

Several commentators including former West Indian pacer Michael Holding criticized the umpiring howlers in the recent game between Australia and West Indies after which they were reprimanded by the ICC for doing so.

Holding has hit back at the ICC for trying to censor the commentators through the production company as he feels that the governing body should focus more on maintaining high standards in cricket and not cover up the mistakes being made by the officials.

Holding also offered to leave the commentating panel of the tournament as he said that he would happy to go back home and not take part in such controlled activities behind the mic.
