The Pakistan cricket team has weakened its chances of making it to the top 4 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 after losing against Australia as they currently stand at the number 8 position in the points table.
Opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq was at the receiving end of some heavy criticism after the game as he threw his wicket away at a time when the team needed him to go on after completing his 50.
Imam has said that the defeat against Australia has made things quite difficult as Pakistan now has to win each of its remaining games in order to make it to top 4. He also admitted that the India Pakistan game would be a high-pressure game in which they would need to win at any cost since it is a do or die game for the green shirts now.
“Obviously, to be part of that kind of game, it's great. It's in Manchester, lots of Pakistani fans there so I'm really excited about it. It's a huge pressure game, obviously,” he said.
