The performance of the Pakistan cricket team in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 has been rather disappointing as they have crumbled under pressure in 2 of their first 4 games.
The recent fixture against Australia exposed the fielding of the green shirts as they were all over the place in the first half of the game, helping Australia get to a winning total of 307 eventually.
Former Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi has urged the Pakistan side to up its fielding in the coming games as a team could win games by fielding well. He also advised the team to retain composure in the tournament as there are some tough challenges ahead.
Afridi said that the batting of the Pakistan team needs to improve if they are to do well in the tournament this year which is why batsmen need to learn to convert 30s and 40s into big scores.
