The Pakistan cricket team has been cornered once again in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 after losing its 4th game against Australia on Wednesday. The team struggled to remain consistent in all departments as they lost a close encounter eventually.
However, there was one positive in the game for Pakistan as fast bowler Mohammad Amir registered his first ever 5-wicket haul in ODI cricket. He extracted movement from the pitch and bowled some tight lines which helped him strangle the Aussie batsmen.
Centurion David Warner was all praise for Amir as he called him a world-class bowler who troubled him a great deal on the Taunton surface.
“Amir's a world-class bowler. When he's swinging it, it's very difficult to try to get on top of him. Then when it's seaming and swinging, it's even harder,” he said.
