The legendary Windies player, Joel Garner applauded his countryman Jofra Archer, who is currently playing white-ball cricket for England. Archer, hailing from Barbados, got selected in England's side after his magical performance in counties and the franchise leagues.
Joel Garner talked about Jofra's success with England. "He is a product of our cricket board in Barbados, which is good, and it is unfortunate that some people made the decisions they made. But I am not surprised to see him bowling well and doing well".
This also indicates that Garner wanted Jofra to prefer his national country for cricket duties and he is not surprised that Archer has done well for England as there is no doubt about his skill levels.
Garner, was also known as "Big Joel" or "Big Bird", playing cricket for the Windies the late in1970s and early 1980s. Garner is the highest ranked ODI bowler and "number 36" in Tests as per the ICC best-ever bowling ratings.
