Pakistan’s premium fast-bowler, Mohammad Amir was at his absolute best against Australia in the recent match where he picked up his maiden five-wicket haul in ODI’s. However, according to him, he would have been more delighted if it had contributed to his side’s win.
Amir reckons that Pakistan couldn’t bowl according to the conditions in first fifteen overs which allowed Australia to post a big total against them. The fast bowler, however, expressed that all is not ended for Pakistan and the team can still make a comeback in the tournament.
“I am happy that after ten years of my international debut I have taken my first five-fer, but I would’ve been more happy and joyous if Pakistan had won the game today,” he said.
