The New Zealand cricket team currently stands at the top of the points table after remaining unbeaten in their first 4 games. The Black Caps are yet to be tested against the top sides as their game against India was washed out recently.
After waiting for more than 4 hours, the game was finally called off as regular rain interruptions did not allow the outfield to dry. Fans did manage to get a couple of selfies with the players as they stood in balconies of the dressing rooms.
All-rounder James Neesham was kind enough to throw his signed batting gloves to the fans which made headlines on the rain affected day. However, he later revealed that those gloves did not belong to him as they were Williamson’s who was standing in the background at that time.
