Former Australian coach has urged the Pakistan team management to consider exciting pace sensation Mohammad Hasnain in place of Hasan Ali, who had yet another torrid time out in the middle in the clash against India at Old Trafford.
Hasan was mighty expensive as the Indian batters took a special liking to his erratic lines and lengths. Acquiring just 5 scalps in the last 8 games and giving away runs at a steep 8 runs per over, it seems Hasan is becoming a burden on Pakistan’s bowling lineup.
The former Australian batsman also pointed this out while narrating Hasan’s poor stats and believed Hasnain could prove to be a surprise package in the remainder of the World Cup. A Pakistan Super League (PSL) product, Hasnain has so far represented Pakistan in 5 matches, picking up 5 wickets.
