Pakistan’s former captain and legendary fast bowler, Wasim Akram left baffled at the Sarfaraz’s decision to bowl first after winning the toss against India in an all-important match of the ICC World Cup. Wasim said he is now tired of even criticizing Pakistan over their repeated mistakes.
“When you’re going with five bowlers, that means you’re omitting one batsman and bowling would be your strength. And, when you’ve bowling as your strength, you go for defending the total. I have been saying things to them since the two games but I am tired of it now,” Wasim said.
Wasim further said that he was surprised that no one from the Pakistani team came and seek advice for me considering that he has played for Lancashire before and he knew how to prepare yourself to play good in these conditions.
