India’s star batsman Rohit Sharma has been in exceptional form in this World Cup, striking two centuries and a fifty in four games already. Batting on another level, the right-hander never looked in trouble during his splendid knock of 140 over arch-rivals Pakistan.
Rohit’s belligerent batting allowed India to post a massive total of 336-5 that ultimately proved to be far too many for the Pakistani batters. The Pakistan batsmen have struggled quite a lot during this tournament and a journalist was quick enough to ask Rohit for his advice to the Green Shirts in this moment of crisis.
However, the Indian opener smiled and humorously stated: “If I become the coach of Pakistan then surely I will tell you. What can I say now?” Rohit’s answer was met with laughter from the audience.
