The Pakistan cricket team has been defeated at the hands of India in a 50-over World Cup game for the 7th time as the latter produced clinical performances in all departments to triumph against the arch rivals on Sunday.
The defeat has agitated the fans of the Pakistan team as they wanted to see some sort of fight from their team in the all-important game at Old Trafford. Former Pakistani pacer Wasim Akram was also frustrated on seeing the performance of the side against India as he urged the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to take strict measures to address the issues in the team.
He has advised the PCB to make sure that every player participates in first-class cricket in order to bring their game at par with top level sides of the world. However, he also said that those players who do not participate in domestic cricket must not be given No Objections Certificate (NOC) to play foreign cricket leagues so that do not take things lightly at the domestic level as well.
