Indian top order batsman Rohit Sharma is in the form of his life right now as he has been scoring a lot or runs in limited overs cricket of late. The right-hander has already scored 2 centuries in 4 games so far in the ICC Cricket World Cup which has rung alarm bells for other teams.
Rohit recently scored a match-winning hundred against arch rivals Pakistan as he paced his innings beautifully in the high-pressure game. The vice-captain of the Indian team has been praised immensely by former batting legend Sachin Tendulkar as he said that the opener is batting at a different level in this tournament.
“The thing that was risky was his running between the wickets. he got lucky a couple of times. Otherwise, his batting was at a different level. I have always felt, when Rohit starts playing close to the body on the front foot, he is going to hurt the opposition,” he said.
