Wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler has become a consistent run getter for England in recent times as he has developed himself into a powerful striker of the ball, making him the most destructive batsman in the world.
The flamboyant middle order batsman has credited his experience at the Rajasthan Royals for the improvement in his white ball game as he learnt a lot about himself during his visit to India.
“Plying lots of white ball cricket, IPL. I have had some great experiences over the last few years playing in these franchise tournaments. While playing these tournaments you learn a lot about yourself and you have to be self-sufficient. Having success in the IPL for Rajasthan Royals gave me huge amounts of confidence,” he said.
Other English players including Joe Root and Ben Stokes heaped immense of Buttler as they were in awe of the unbelievable ability of the batsman to change gears according to the situation.
