In the 25th match of the ICC World Cup 2019, New Zealand triumphed over South Africa to remain unbeaten in the tournament. Kane Williamson was the architect at work for New Zealand as he single-handedly held their innings together and finished the match with an unbeaten century.
On the other hand, Hashim Amla took his time at the start for South Africa but couldn’t convert his innings into a big hundred. Amla played too many balls (83) for his 55 runs and after his dismissal, South Africa’s middle order was in tandems.
Kane Williamson, however, kept his cool and he kept on rotating the strike and took the match to the last over. The difference between Amla and Kane’s knock was that both took their time but only Kane converted his innings into a match-winning knock.
