Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh recently announced his retirement from international cricket after being a remarkable cricketer for over 15 years. The veteran played a major part in helping India win the World Cup in 2011 as he produced all round performances throughout.
Yuvraj also said that he would not be taking part in the Indian Premier League (IPL) from now on as he wants to participate in foreign cricket leagues in the next few years. Reportedly, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) would grant permission to Yuvraj as he no longer wishes to play the IPL in India.
Fans all around the world were excited on hearing the news, but Pakistani fans were especially ecstatic as they have now invited Yuvraj to feature in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) from next year. Although, the cricketer has not given any response but PSL fans have high hopes of seeing the all-rounder in Pakistan next year.
