Rishabh Pant, the dashing wicket-keeper batsman has been finally included in India's World Cup squad after Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 due to injury.
Gautam Gambhir, the former Indian opening batsman empathized with Dhawan and also requested the public from exerting undue pressure on young Rishabh Pant. Pant was previously being pressurized by the Indian fans when they started to compare him with Mahendra Singh Dhoni which was surely an unfair deal.
"Disappointed to know that Shikhar Dhawan will no longer take part in the cricket world cup, he looked so much a part. My thoughts are with u brotherman but do not worry it is not the end of the world. Also, best wishes to Rishabh Pant. I would urge that we do not put any undue pressure on Rishabh", Gambhir said.
