Warne says Australia can't be champions with conservative approach

Australia have been clinical in their performances in the last few games as they currently top the points table. Performing brilliantly in all aspects of the game, opposing sides have been unable to find a way to tame the Aussies.

Despite all the victories that Aaron Finch’s men have thus far achieved in the tournament, spin legend Shane Warne believes Australia are still playing with a conservative approach. He particularly criticized the Australian batting order as they tend to be rigid in the positioning of their batsmen and do not tinker to allow power hitters take center stage when the momentum is on their side.

Warne’s thoughts were not shared by a lot of people but he persisted with his view that in order to beat teams like India and England, Australia require out of the box thinking.
