Former Pakistan cricketer, Bazid Khan has made a shocking statement as he believes that the national team’s Champions Trophy historic triumph in 2017 was nothing more than a fluke. He said in the light of Pakistan’s poor form in One-day Internationals (ODIs).
“We have not been doing well in one-day cricket for quite a while. The Champions Trophy win came out of the blue. Either side of it, our team hasn’t done well, especially in ODI cricket. You got to look at the whys and answer why Pakistan cricket is way behind in world cricket,” Bazid said.
Bazid who is a son of legendary Majid Khan, also criticized the non-existing domestic structure of Pakistan stating that the players don’t get the opportunity to go back to the first-class structure and work on their weakness.
