Indian skipper Virat Kohli is one of the most consistent and impactful cricketers of this generation as every young kid wants to emulate his style of batting and aggression on the field.
Former South African cricketer and coach of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Gary Kirsten has heaped praise on Kohli as he called him a modern-day great due to his never-ending hunger to keep on going.
“He is great for the world game in every sense. I have played international cricket for a decade and more and I can tell you from experience that it is impossible to turn up every single day with the same intensity. You just can’t. If you have scored a big hundred one day, there are occasions when you just don’t have the hunger to go out and do it again the next day,” he said.
