Pietersen joins the off-field sledging bandwagon

Australia and England have enjoyed great rivalry in cricket since the start of the game in the 19th century as they only played against each other at that time. The rivalry has remained equally intense and fierce ever since given the history the two countries share with each other.

The much-anticipated contest between the hosts and Australia is a couple of days away now while the off-field sledging has already begun between former cricketers. Michael Hussey and Graeme Swann recently took jibes at each other while giving interviews.

Furthermore, former Test cricketer Kevin Pietersen also joined in as he believes that Australia does not have a chance against the hosts this year after their recent performance against Bangladesh. He said that his home side would score more than 400 runs against the arch rivals after they conceded 333 against a side like Bangladesh.

Moreover, he also advised the defending champions to book their flights and fly back home as soon as possible in order to avoid the embarrassment of defeat at the hands of England.
