Pakistan has failed to impress in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament as the green team is on the verge of getting eliminated from the ongoing cricket festival in England and Wales. Winning only one of their 5 games, the team as well as the management is being severely criticized by all the cricket pundits.
Pakistan’s head coach Mickey Arthur is no exception as former Pakistan cricketer and chief selector Mohsin Hassan Khan was found lampooning Mickey’s performance as the mentor of the unit. The 64-year old believes that the head coach cannot just sit on the laurels as he’ll have to do more than that to stay in frame. Moreover, he raised voice for merit-based selection in the national team.
“Those who brought him are responsible for this. If you play 20 matches, for example, and win 3 out of them, the record says you have lost 17. Anyways, it’s up to the cricket board. I’m not sure you can win one tournament (2017 Champions Trophy) and sit on that for two years,” shared by Mohsin Hassan as he criticized Mickey’s performance in the last 2 years.
