Sri Lanka's tour to Pakistan makes positive gains

Pakistan chances of hosting an international Test match has gained massive gains as the President of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Shammi Silva has hinted at the possibility of touring Pakistan, after denying that any talks had happened earlier.

The President of SLC has accepted that they have received a formal invitation from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and they were looking at it favourably. “PCB has made a request and we will assess the security situation. We are looking at the possibility favourably,” Silva was quoted saying.

Pakistan is slated to host two Test matches against Sri Lanka in October this year, as part of the inaugural International Cricket Council (ICC) World Test Championship. The PCB had sent its Under-19 team to Sri Lanka soon after the Easter Sunday terror attacks in April now Pakistan expecting Sri Lanka to reciprocate the same favour.
