Left-handed batsman, Haris Sohail was the star of the show as Pakistan outclass South Africa to keep their World Cup hopes alive. It was the "Sohail Show" at the home of cricket, Lords when Pakistan posted a total of 308 runs against South Africa.
Haris played a blistering innings of 89 runs off just 59 balls. His sumptuous knock included 9 boundaries and 3 maximums. Ali Zafar, star Pakistani musician, was surprised that Haris was not included in the previous world cup games. "Why wasn’t he made to play every match?", Ali questioned.
Haris was sidelined despite his exquisite form since his return from the injury. Shoaib Malik's poor form proved to be a blessing in disguise for him. Haris took the full advantage of the chance given to him and he won Pakistan the game.
