England’s limited-overs skipper Eoin Morgan is all set to travel to Bangladesh to appear in the forthcoming edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The swashbuckling cricketer, with his firepower, will be witnessed plying his trade for the one-time champion Dhaka Dynamites later this year.
The high profile signing brings a massive wave of happiness for the Bengali fans as it was Morgan who refused to land in Bangladesh when his side visited Bangladesh for a bilateral tour in 2016. However, improvement in security situation restored the confidence of the Dublin born cricketer who is now all set to embellish the most cherished T20 tournament of Bangladesh with his presence.
Playing a total of 268 T20 games, the 32-year old striker has shown his prowess by scoring over 5600 runs with a strike-rate close to 130. Moreover, his role in England’s white-ball resurgence is known to all. Morgan will join hands with a world-class all-rounder like Shakib Al Hasan to form a sturdy unit for Dhaka. Bringing a plethora of entertainment, the seventh edition of the Bangladesh’s glitzy T20 tournament will commence in November.
