Pakistan’s middle-order batsman Haris Sohail played an outstanding knock against South Africa yesterday and won the man of the match award for his enthralling 89 off 59 balls.
Haris was brought in place of the veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik who was struggling for form in the recent matches. He made full use of the opportunity and a counter-attacking knock by the Sialkot Stallions’ player provided Pakistan with an opportunity to post a huge total on the board.
Skipper Sarfraz Ahmed also praised Haris Sohail for his excellent performance with the bat and said that Sohail grabbed the opportunity with both the hands. Sarfraz also added that Sohail’s knock at the iconic Lord’s cricket stadium will change his career.
