Former Australian skipper Michael Clarke has drawn an interesting comparison between two of the most impactful players in world cricket right now. He recently compared India’s Jasprit Bumrah with Australia’s David Warner as he feels that the two players hold the key for their respective teams in this World Cup.
Clarke has hailed Bumrah as the perfect pacer in the modern era as he said that Virat Kohli is fortunate to have a bowler like him who could win matches for him single-handedly.
“He can bowl close to 150 clicks and then at the death, he bowls those yorkers as good as anyone else. And if there is reverse swing, he is a genius,” said Bumrah.
The World Cup winning Aussie captain also said that David Warner plays the exact same role for Australia as he provides the x-factor with the bat and could also win games single -handedly.
