The New Zealand cricket team has been one of the most consistent limited overs sides since the last World Cup of 2015 as it has won most of its bilateral series ever since and has not let any side bog them down completely.
New Zealand’s ODI prowess is at show in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup as well as they have been one of the most consistent sides in the tournament so far. Speaking of their chances, former skipper Brendon McCullum has backed the Black Caps to make it to the semi finals stage of the mega event this time.
“Some people say underdogs but probably they don't see New Zealand play that often. Broadcast-wise they are not seen as often as some of the other teams and hence they are out of sight out of the mind thing,” he said while talking about semi finals place of his national team.
