Michael Vaughan shares a piece of advice for England

Despite being in a strong position after winning four of their first 5 games in the mega-event, England has managed to put themselves in a perilous position where one more defeat could have them facing the situation of ifs and buts. Pakistan ending New Zealand’s unbeaten streak in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament has exacerbated the situation for the home team

While England cannot control everything, one thing that they do have in their hands is the last two games i.e. against India and New Zealand and former English captain Michael Vaughan wants the top-ranked ODI side to show their class.

For the forthcoming game against India which is scheduled to be played on June 30 at Birmingham, the 44-year old advised England to be flexible by discarding their one-dimensional approach. The cricketer turned commentator added that playing one way makes this English unit too much predictable and allows all the other teams to plan accordingly.

Moreover, Vaughan wants England to drop James Vince as found him clueless against good bowling. With the competition heating up, it would be interesting to see the response of this dynamic English team.
