West Indian master blaster Chris Gayle has been a prolific run scorer for the national side especially in limited overs cricket over the years. However, he has not had a good time in England so far, having scored just 200 runs in 7 games of the World Cup.
The left-hander has always been quite proud of his achievements in cricket as he has recently rated himself as one of the greatest players to have played the game.
“I'm definitely up there. I'm definitely up there with the greats without a doubt," he said when asked about his views on his standing in cricket history.
Moreover, Gayle has also hinted towards rethinking his retirement decision as he said that he is currently focused on enjoying his remaining days in cricket and he would continue to do so as long he wants to.
