The Indian cricket team is yet to lose a game in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 as they have been quite dominant over all teams throughout the tournament. The blue shirts have had contributions from all departments as players have responded well under pressure.
KL Rahul came into the side after the injury of Shikhar Dhawan who has been ruled out of action for almost 2 months. Rahul has had a decent run at the top of the order so far, but he has failed to convert his scores into big hundreds.
In an interview, Rahul has revealed that skipper Virat Kohli said some harsh things to him after he threw his wicket away having made 30 off 53 balls on a slow pitch against Afghanistan.
“When Virat walked in versus West Indies, I told him it wasn't coming on as well, it was a bit two-paced. was important that we got a partnership going. That's a mistake I did against Afghanistan. Virat did give me quite an earful after I went back because in the middle he told me that the two of us had to take the game to 130-140 and then one of us can take off, “he said.
