There is never a dull moment in Pakistan’s cricket, there is always something unpredictable happening whether it’s on the field or off the field. The last few months have brought turbulence in Pakistan’s cricket because of the revelations some of the former players have made.
Now, another controversy has surfaced following the remark of a former all-rounder, Abdul Razzaq on Kamran Akmal. In one TV show, Razzaq levelled allegations on Kamran Akmal that he intentionally dropped catches off Shoaib Akhtar’s bowling during their match against New Zealand during the 2011 ICC World Cup at Pallekele.
Kamran Akmal has hit back at the accusations, stating that he cannot even think about dropping catches just for the sake of one person. He further termed Razzaq’s comments as cheap and called him immature for publicly accusing him of dishonesty without any evidence. The wicket-keeper batsman said that he has always respected the players he has played with.
