Haris Sohail has proved to be crucial for Pakistan in the last couple of matches and has contributed massively in the middle-order by scoring two consecutive half-centuries against South Africa and New Zealand respectively.
Haris’ career has been marred with serious injuries but there has never been a doubt about his natural talent as he has once again exhibited in the ongoing tournament. Haris Sohail and Babar Azam look a class apart and ever ready to form a lengthy partnership for Pakistan in the middle order as they perfectly complement each other. Moreover, the right-hand left-hand combination is always a bonus.
Following their good partnerships and their classy batting style, the pair has managed to garner comparisons with the Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan. However, Haris believes that such comparisons can put them under more pressure.
“Comparisons to former players will only create pressure for us. Babar and I just want to keep things simple and try to play even better in the upcoming match,” Haris said.
