Kohli euphoric to extend India’s unbeaten run in World Cup 2019

India now sits as the only unbeaten team of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament as the resurgence of Pakistan recently overpowered the professionalism of New Zealand. However, India is flexing their muscles in no uncertain terms as the men in blue now thumped West Indies by 125 runs to register their 5th victory of the tournament.

After winning the toss, India batted first to put 268 runs on the board. In reply, West Indies were found answerless to the accuracy of the blue team. While most of the Indian batters struggled but the class of skipper Virat Kohli was once again on display as the 30-year old scored his 53rd ODI half-century to help his team beat the Caribbean boys.

The Indian run machine took to Twitter to express his happiness as he was ecstatic to see India continuing their dominance and receiving immense support in Manchester. Virat congratulated his team for delivering a professional performance and vowed to continue their good run in the ongoing championship. India’s next World Cup fixture will take place against hosts England on June 30 at Edgbaston.
